In case of death of an employee on duty, his/ her family members are eligible to withdraw PF and Pension Fund. The intimation for the same is to be shared to hr-helpdesk@channelplay.in within 48 hours of the death of the respective employee to file for the eligible claims

Following are the guidelines for the same.

  • For unmarried employees, claimant can be the parents of the employee only
  • For married employees, claimant can only be the spouse and kids (up to three) below the age of 25 years
  • Each claimant is paid the eual proportion of the total calculated amount for both PF and Pension Fund
  • Provident Fund amount is paid in one time. However, Pension Fund is divided into equal monthly installments
  • All the funds gets transferred to the claimants through NEFT
  • All claimant's bank accounts should be with the same bank
  • Allowed Banks for Pension Fund Transfer are:

    1. Punjab National Bank (PNB)
    2. State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ)
    3. HDFC Bank
    4. Axis Bank
    5. ICICI Bank
    6. Bank of Baroda

Documents required to claim PF in the given situation are as mentioned below:
  • Employee's Death Certificate
  • List of Family Members of the Employee/ Family Chart
  • Duly filled and signed attached forms
  1. Form 20 : 1 Copy
  2. Form 10 D : 2 copies of each claimant
  3. Page 5 of Form 10 D : 2 extra copies of each claimant
  • 3 Passport size photographs of each claimant
  • Employee's ID Proof
  • Each claimant's (parent and spouse) ID Proof
  • Birth Certificate for the kids of the employee
